Compite con una 9800GTX, sacando mejores resultados en altas resoluciones y filtros que esta.

Consumo:

En cuanto al OC, sube en torno a un 10%.
En cuanto a temperaturas es calentorra.
- Según guru3d: " Idle temps are roughly 50-60 Degrees C, yet when the GPU is fully utilized it'll reach 85 Degrees C quite fast and easily."
- Según techpowerup: "Under load the HD 4850 gets quite hot, but not too hot. Actually I prefer this over a card with a noisy fan. For our measurements we used the hottest of the three on-die sensors of the GPU. Due to the design of the cooler it is easy to touch a part of the hot cooler baseplate when removing the card. So after using this card wait a minute or two before you burn your fingers."

A tener muy en cuenta: un Crossfire de 4850 rinde como una GTX280 en la mayoria de los casos
Palabras de anandtech: "Take two 4850s, put them together and now you've got something even faster than NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 280 in most cases. It shouldn't be too surprising since 8800 GT SLI and 9800 GX2 both outperform the GTX 280 as well."
